Approximately 60% of cancer patients require radiation therapy as part of the treatment protocols for their illness. Radiation may be administered for curative, palliative or even preventive purposes.

The Centro de Cáncer ABC has a modern Radiotherapy Unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology that precisely calculate the required doses for each treatment and apply them by means of ultra-modern equipment.
The Centro de Cáncer ABC offers world class radiotherapy medical services thanks to internationally certified specialists and to its fourth generation linear accelerator, unique to the Distrito Federal and the second in the country to offer IMRT, IGRT and 4D treatments. It is the only private center in Mexico that has doctors trained in the use of these new technologies.
By using intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), therapeutic radiation is administered to cancer patients. This therapy is based on an optimal planning system and, unlike conventional treatment, allows us to define the radiation administration model and the doses limits.
