Cancer Early Detection Programs

Cancer Early Detection Programs

Cancer early detection programs require an educational process and the identification of risk factors, as well as the application of specific tests that allow the identification of any suspicious cancer-like lesion at an early stage, during the constant follow up, performing of studies and, of course, a qualified medical opinion.

Breast Cancer Early Detection Programs:

  • They have been shown to be capable of reducing breast cancer mortality by up to 20%. To be successful, it is important to carry out annual, highly precise radiological tests and perform their optimal interpretation.
  • They allow the detection of early lesions that are imperceptible through self-exploration that are potentially malignant. They help to identify changes observed over time, which may be the first indication of cancer.
