Support for patients

Group of Self-Help

Our support group can provide assistance during this important transition for all bariatric surgery patients (pre- and post-operation) and for their families and friends.

The group meets regularly every  2 weeks on Wednesdays  at the Centro Médico ABC.

The aim is to provide a forum for asking questions, getting advice from other patients, sharing ideas and exchanging the experiences had after this type of operation. It is both a support and an educational group, as lecturers are invited to answer questions about nutrition, medicine, exercise, plastic surgery, psychology, relaxation techniques, appearance of the body and other areas of interest to patients.
